Banjo Bolts

Frentech Banjo bolts make up one half of a banjo fitting and is frequently used to control fluid performance and pressure. In the automotive industry they are most often seen in brake systems. The banjo bolt connects the brake lines to the cylinder to control pressure in response to the activation of the brake pedal.

Compared to pipe fittings that are themselves threaded, banjo fittings have the advantage that they do not have to be rotated relative to the host fitting, which avoids risk of damage

Brake caliper banjo bolts are hollow bolt with a hole on the side; this allows fluid transfer into the other part of the fitting, which is also hollow. The banjo bolt passes through the centre of the fitting, which also has a hole in it. The banjo bolt fitting has flat surfaces which are tightly sealed with a crush washer. Those seals allow fluid to pass around the bolt and into the cylinder without leaking.

Frentech source only the best possible quality banjo bolts, manufactured to specification consistent with original equipment.
